Sentence SaysTM picks up where word games leave off by challenging players to create an actual sentence (no spelling required).
The object of the game is to accumulate points by creating sentences out of dealt letter cards. Each letter represents the first letter of a word of a player's choice. For example: the letter "B" could become "Big", "Before" or any other word that begins with the letter "B".
A player can arrange their cards in any order to create a sentence, but must first announce "Sentence Says" before saying their final sentence. The sentence must make sense in order to win the sentence points that are found at the bottom of every letter card.
Easy enough, right? Well, there's more! Action cards drawn before each player's turn give an instruction to completing a sentence. Examples of action cards are: "To get your points, you must create a sentence in the form of a question" or "To get your points, you must create a sentence with an animal or insect in it".
Players will also have a time limit: 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds, depending on the roll of the dice.
There are also extra points awarded to successfully stealing a sentence if another player loses their turn. This adds an extra element of challenge and fun to this already thought provoking game concept. It also keeps all players engaged in the game, no matter whose turn it is.
The first player to reach 100 points wins the game!
All of the cards are oversized (3-1/2" x 5-1/4"), made of extra heavy 16pt. card stock and are UV coated for added durability. All components are oversized and produced from only the highest quality materials, making Sentence SaysTM a keepsake as well as a very handsome gift!Contents:
