Three 4 $5.00 Volume 2
From the Publisher...
Like the first print-n-play collection from Black & White Games, this CD
contains three fun games you can print yourself with minimal time and
equipment. There is also one entertaining music video and some additional
materials on the CD.
Here are the brief game descriptions:
Bedlam: The Countdown (for 3-5 players)
This is a resource management and negotiation game set in the dark future.
Most simply, it's an auction game where the characters you buy provide the
options you'll have for actions on your turn. Instead of using the usual
approach with character based card games--when cards refer to broad classes
of characters such as "thief" or "wizard"--the cards in Bedlam refer to
specific characters and they give the game an excellent sense of narrative.
Prepare for some surprises, some backstabbing and plenty of tough decisions.
One Million Words (for 3-8 players)
If a picture's worth a thousand words, how many can be generated by two?
Well, throw in a group of creative friends along with the two pictures and
you'll have more than a million words. There will be plenty of laughs as
well in this highly entertaining, terribly simple game.
Im-Bi-Bo (for 2 players)
This is a simple, abstract game of strategy for two. It was designed to be
played in a coffee shop, but you can enjoy it anywhere. Each turn players
place cards on a small board hoping to pick up stones and, at the same time,
control the value of those stones so they'll have the most points at the end
of the game.
And one B&W movie...
Along with three fun games you'll also get this short Black & White Movie
(in full color, no less) in Windows Media File format:
Yes, like the videos on the first Three 4 $5.00 CD this was created with a
home video camera. It's a tribute to the many games my family and friends
have enjoyed over the years. It's also an attempt to produce a complete
music video with very little talent on my part. It's got music, acting,
tons of game references and, best of all, dancing meeples.
The number of players and playing times vary from game to game in this collection. Each game requires some extra items (such as chips, pencils or paper) in addition to the printing requirements. The videos on this CD are in Windows Media File format.
See the publisher's
page for complete information on the games and movies.
