As a kid, I used to love Rummy and would play it all the time. Looking back, part of that love was probably from lack of other better games, so I was a bit wary of Mystery Rummy: Jack the Ripper - I mean how much can you really do with a simple game of Rummy?
Quite a lot, as it turns out. With the inclusion of another "game in the game" (the possibility of Jack escaping) and cards that trigger certain actions there is a lot more going on here than in traditional Rummy. Coupled with a succesful theme, this is a must have - especially well suited for couples as it gets even better with repeated play against the same opponent.
