This is my number one game. It is easy to teach and easy to play. It has a lot of interaction with other players. Everyone I have played this with, from gamers to non-gamers have loved it.

A great area control game. I love the mechanism of building walls that helps create your domaines, but also helps your neighbors finish their domaines as well. Once everyone's castles are walled in, then the fun really begins. Points can change hands quickly as territories expand and recede.

This game is a looker -- with high quality components, colorfull pieces, impressive layouts. It's not really that hard to learn the game, but to master it is another thing. Beware, you must always monitor your opponents' moves and placement instead of just concentrating on your own domaine.

Domaine/Lowenhertz are very similar and fun playing games with an enjoyable medieval theme that’s easy to learn. The main difference between the two games are you bid for the action you want in Lowenhertz, as in Domaine, you pay for the action that’s available to you. After getting or selecting your action, it’s just about the same game. Players on their turn, will either collect gold, build walls, expand their kingdoms or place knights. With plenty of components and enough options to keep it fresh, this game is worth getting on your shelf and into play.
