Nothing fancy, just fun games.

What's New?

Freaky Forest -- The Halloween Game - This is the game I created with the help of my wife and kids.  Each year we make a game and sell a limited number of copies during the holiday season.  This the one the kids love best because we play for candy!

I have completed the second Three 4 $5.00 collection!  It's got the smash hit (?) Play Eurogames in song and video as well as three fun games.

Be sure to read my updates on the B&W Games Blanket Project to get an idea of my overall mission with my games.

World Gauntlet Federation has been released in print-and-play format by Pyromyth.  I co-designed this game with David Whitcher.  It's a light character-based game set in a detailed world perfect for a humorous RPG.  One of those, along with some expansions, could be on the way depending on the success of this initial release.

We've got two videos in the What's It To Ya? Project now.  The first focuses more on the deeper aspects of the game.  The second shows more of the game's potention for fun.

Snakebite has been picked up by Blue Panther Games.  It was our best selling B&W title and I'm glad to see it being produced by a company that can bring it to a larger distribution..

Here's a video I made for Ballot Bots.  That game is published by Robot Martini and it's in color, but since I co-designed it I figured it was worth mentioning here.

Big Game Hunters of the Universe - This game has been re-worked with a lot of new art and new layouts.  It's now available for download from Pyromyth Games!  It was an attempt to make a fast, simple auction game that could be played during a lunch break.   The theme makes it a game of marketing, killing exotic beasts and trying to pay for it all.

The Game of Christmas Cheer - This game is in full color and it is such a step up in quality that I'm not even putting it on this website!  Instead, check it out at Fair Play games where you can buy it for under $7.

Three 4 $5.00:  Volume 1 - This is our latest gaming experiement.  On this CD you'll find three fun Print-and-Play games plus a couple Black & White Movies.  This volume contains the games King for a Day, Get Paul That Promotion (2nd Edition) and Blackmail.

As for other news...
A game I designed with Stephen Glenn was just released from Robot Martini.  It's called Ballot Bots.

In 2005 I signed a contract with SimplyFun and they pubished my game Take Your Pick.  In 2006 I'm releasing a new edition of my party game What's It To Ya? through New World Games.  Consequently I haven't focused as much on B&W Games in the past months.

My blog, which is not entirely game related, has been moved to here.

The Games

Get Paul That Promotion - This is a hilarious creativity game in the same mold as Why Did the Chicken...?, The Haiku Game and several other things I've worked on the past year. This time you're working to crank out names and slogans for new products. The trick is you're trying not to have the best or worst response. I love the change in standards in the game as a "good" response isn't so good, though it is almost always side-splittingly funny!

Synapse - A real-time card game for two players that's free! Visit the page to learn the rules and to find the graphic of cards.

Yaddy-Yadda - The basic game is "a frantic little word game for 3-6 players". The deck has quickly turned into a game system with several other possible ways to play. Visit this game's page for the rules to other games!

What's It To Ya? - A game of values and opinions for 3-6 players. This B&W Game has now been published in an upgraded edition by New World Games. You can find more information here.

Big Game Hunters of the Universe - Now available for download from Pyromyth Games!  It's a quick game of marketing, killing exotic beasts and paying for it all!

Blaster Bots - Bored killer robots decide to have a little fun coding each other and seeing who can survive the longest. This game is currently unavailable. Visit the game's page for more information.
