Cartagena   (View Game)
   BBM

This is an enjoyable light race game, with an innovative catch-up mechanism. Some may find it a bit abstract, but I think the theme is well implemented.

Bisikle: Zballs (3)   (View Game)
   BBM
This is the most important add-on to the base game, since you can easily lose the original ball that came with the game. It also speeds up play to have a ball for each player.

Bisikle   (View Game)
   BBM
This is a dexterity game with a bicycle race theme. It works very well. What I like the most, is that the track is very flexible and can be set up in a lot of different ways - which provides tons of replayability.

BFW Elves of Ravenwood Reinforcement (Battleground Fantasy Warfare)   (View Game)
   BBM
The main attaction of this reinforcement deck are the centaurs - after using them, you will have a hard time fielding an army without them.

BFW Elves of Ravenwood Starter (Battleground Fantasy Warfare)   (View Game)
   BBM
The Elves are a good starting faction, since they are fairly easy to play and they have units that can counter most other factions. A very versatile starting deck.

BFW Dwarves of Runegard Reinforcement (Battleground Fantasy Warfare)   (View Game)
   BBM
This reinforcement deck gives you both new units and more of the core troops from the basic deck. I particularly like that the dwarves now also get some cavalry.

BFW Dwarves of Runegard Starter (Battleground Fantasy Warfare)   (View Game)
   BBM
The great thing about the BFW-system is that the more sets you have, the more match-up possibilities you get. The dwarves provide a solid, strong faction that can certainly stand their ground.

BFW Men of Hawkshold Army Starter (Battleground Fantasy Warfare)   (View Game)
   BBM
This was my first deck of BFW cards, and it still remains one of my favourites. The BFW-system is a very cheap and effective way of scrathing the itch for a miniatures wargame, since it is all done with cards.

Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game   (View Game)
   BBM
I like that this game is cooperative, but not completely - you never know exactly who you can trust, which leads to a very memorable experience.

Betrayal At House On The Hill   (View Game)
   BBM
This game is dripping with theme. It works best with a group that is used to Roleplaying Games, and it is necessary that everyone involved is comfortable with taking on the role of the evil that faces the players, since it is determined randomly, who gets that role.

Battleship   (View Game)
   BBM
The classic game everyone has tried at some point in time. It is good for teaching children how they can apply logic and systematic testing to a problem.

Battle Cry *ND   (View Game)
   BBM
This game was the forerunner for Memoir '44, which uses the same card-driven system. It has great miniatures and the scenarios are very interesting. Good for those interested in a solid, but not too complicated game in a historic setting.

Balloon Cup (English Version)   (View Game)
   BBM
This is a very enjoyable light 2-player game. It is a good introduction to European-style games, with wooden bricks and victory points rather than heavy theme and direct conflict.

Attika   (View Game)
   BBM
I like the feeling of building my city. The tile-laying reminds me a bit of carcassonne, but this game is much more strategic and has elements of civilization-building.

Axis & Allies 1942 Edition   (View Game)
   BBM
This is a strategic war game based on World War 2. It achieves a great level of immersion through its rules and miniatures, but never gets too complicated - a classic.

Around the World in 80 Days   (View Game)
   BBM
The most innovative about this game is the way the players can use different amounts of time, which makes it difficult to assess who is ahead (which is a good thing). It implements the theme very well and is a very enjoyable race game.

Apples to Apples   (View Game)
   BBM
A classic party game. You need at least 4, but preferable more people to enjoy this. The base game includes plenty of cards for playing the game many times without repetition.

Anasazi   (View Game)
   BBM
Quite alternative game, where the placement of board pieces affects gameplay greatly. The theme of expeditions is very fitting, but don't play it too competitively, since it is easy to argue about the exact measurements and movement in the game.

Abalone   (View Game)
   BBM
This is a very tactile abstract game. Rolling clusters of balls around the board just feels great, and the game is both accessable and has depth.

Arkham Horror Board Game   (View Game)
   BBM
If you like the literature of H.P. Lovecraft, this game is very likely to be a hit. It has lots of RPG-elements, but in a controlled board game environment - works great with people who are used to Roleplaying Games.

Android   (View Game)
   BBM
This game is certainly an experience to play. In a group that can see past the fact that the story is not so much revealed as it is created/manipulated, it really shines.

Alhambra: The Dice Game Expansion   (View Game)
   BBM
Still is a fast and fun push-your-luck game, with custom dice. Despite the name, there is no need to be familiar with Alhambra (the board game) to appreciate this game.

7 Wonders   (View Game)
   BBM
This game is really a work of art - each card is absolutely stunning. It plays fast and is light enough to be manageable for casual gamers, while still having enough decisions to make it interesting for the more advanced players.

Change Horses   (View Game)
   BBM
The components are beautiful and bound to draw the attention of anyone who sees the game set up. Gameplay is also solid.

Can't Stop *ND   (View Game)
   BBM
Very fitting title, as you literally always feel that you can do just ONE more roll - and most of the time you get away with it. Simple, fast and absolutely addictive gameplay.

Cafe International das Kartenspiel   (View Game)
   BBM
Simple little game that can be played with anyone. Scoring can be a bit tricky, but adds to the tactics of when and where to place your cards.

Attack! Expansion   (View Game)
   BBM
An essential expansion to the basic game. Introduces exciting new possibilities and expands the map to cover the whole world.

Attack!   (View Game)
   BBM
Tons of bits and a huge map. Easy to teach and plays fast. Can be improved further with a few play aids.

Archaeology: The Card Game   (View Game)
   BBM
A good combination of set collection and push-your-luck. You always need just one more of a particular card when the sandstorm hits and forces you to discard.

San Marco   (View Game)
   BBM
The simple mechanic of splitting a deck and choosing works brilliantly to create touch decisions. One of my best games for 3 players.

San Juan   (View Game)
   BBM
Great use of cards as currency, buildings and victory point generators. Has many possibilities for strategies and still plays fast.

Streetsoccer   (View Game)
   BBM
Streetsoccer captures the feeling of the sport surprisingly well . It feels great when you score a goal after passing to several of you players.

Trivial Pursuit: 20th Anniversary Edition   (View Game)
   BBM
This game is great for slow evenings at the dorm, when there are plenty of people around and nothing much to do - it is surprising what some people know!

Tic Tac Toe (Tic-Tac-Toe)   (View Game)
   BBM
I use this classic game to teach my children about planning ahead and looking carefully before placing their pieces - skills they will need for chess later.

That's Life!   (View Game)
   BBM
The best thing about this push-your-luck game is the modular board, which provides a lot of variety.

Thurn & Taxis   (View Game)
   BBM
This is one of my most played games. It provides a good mix of strategic and tactical decisions and typically plays in just around 1 hour.

Stratego   (View Game)
   BBM
Classic. I love the setup phase where you try to out-think your opponent and set traps for him.

Ticket to Ride   (View Game)
   BBM
A very cutthroat game if played by people of equal skill. I like the simplicity and the need to think ahead - although the luck of the draw can ruin that at times.

Ticket To Ride - Europe   (View Game)
   BBM
Big improvement over the original Ticket To Ride, as it adds several new elements and possibilites for using cities for more than one route. Great for families and casual players, as it is easy to learn and play.

Turn the Tide (a similar English version of the German (Land Unter)   (View Game)
   BBM
In this game you are constantly trying to avoid being stuck with the worst card - which can be surprisingly hard. The artwork is very cute as well - good family game.

Weinhandler, die   (View Game)
   BBM
Very interesting set-collection game. I particularly like that the placement of cards influence their value, as it adds another layer of strategy.

UNO   (View Game)
   BBM
A classic and timeless game. Great for playing with children. It can be enjoyed by almost any number of players, although probably best for 3-6.

Wizard Card Game Deluxe Edition   (View Game)
   BBM
Although the theme is just painted on, this is a very enjoyable trick-taking game. The inclusion of special cards to secure or prevent tricks adds a nice element of suspense.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game @1996 collectible tin   (View Game)
   BBM
This is an advanced and deep collectable card game. A big variety of strategies and powerful combinations mean that most games feel very tense and exciting until the end.

Blue Moon: Legend (Basic Set)   (View Game)
   BBM
It is simple, but the combination of special abilities, bluffing and pushing your luck makes it strangely addictive. Plays fast too.

Blokus   (View Game)
   BBM
Simple tile-laying game that is very tactical but also has a small element of strategy to it. Simple rules and colourful components make it easily accessable.

Bohnanza   (View Game)
   BBM
This game can be a blast with the right group of players (outgoing people who do not take their games too seriously). Not a game for the very analytical.

Bang! 4th Edition   (View Game)
   BBM
Very thematic game for a large group of players. Rather slow gameplay combined with built in player elimination is a drawback, though.
